It's the Continental Motosport Club with news on how to qualify. (Or
call the racetrack in your area.) There's prize money and money for
expenses to be won, but you'vegot to movefast - the Rose Bowl's August
17th with qualifying races happening now. It's Suzuki's Quadrace of
Quadraces, and your chance to take a seat in Rose Bowl history:
LOS ANGELES Four races down, four to go. Eight races with $2200
total prize money. Winners of each race get $150. Second $75. Third
$50. With first place finishers all going to Rose Bowl final. All
races held at Ascot Park. Winners so far : Ron Baker, Brian Fry,
Gary Denton and Craig Peterson. Upcoming races: July 12th and
26th. Plus August 2nd and 9th.
WESTERN One race comingJuly 21st. One race, $1000 total prize money
plus expenses. First three finishers go to Rose Bowl final. First place
wins $300 plus $200 expense money. Second $200 plus $100 expense
money. Third $150 plus $50. At the Fly "N" L.D. Ranch, Utah.
SAN FRANCISCO One race down, four to go. Five races, $400 total prize
money plus expenses. Two riders finishing with highest point totals
go to Rose Bowl final. Top qualifier wins $150 plus
$100 expense money. Second wins $75 plus $75
expense money. Series leader so far is Gil Madeiros,
winner of June 23rd at Riverfront Park. Upcoming
