The Division Two con sy was one of th e bett er shows for th e fan s as Southern California 's Kevin Krugh wa s havin g a battle with Ron Porteous and ea rly leader Rory Rundle. The boys go t into a bash an d crash type a ffa ir with eac h other a nd sneaking through th e maddening crowd was non e o ther th an Harlan Bast , th e Sen ior, a nd as th e fou r rid ers exited th e la st turn , th e o ld man got o n th e gas a nd won much to the delight o f the fan s. Martz got th e resta rt b u t was chased down on th e third lap by R ob in son w ho was rid ing very well. " I really felt good to n ig h t a nd th e bike wa s hook in g up just rig ht. Its been a long time co m ing but its th ere now," he said . Kell y Echterl ing followed th e seven -p oint loss o f Schmelzle on lap on e with a nine-point tall y.
