Sch wa rtz closed OUI th e p ro gram with a wire-to-wire win over King in even t 20. Schwartz 's triumph in 20 se t u p a four-rider runoff betw een himself , Kell y Moran , Kin g a n d Miller. T he fir st two wou ld go o n as regulars in th e O verseas Fi na l. King , Miller a nd Moran ba tt led their way into the first corner trai led by Sch wa rt z who missed th e sta rt . It was an elbo wswingi n g war in th e fir st be nd wi th Kin g strea king i nto th e lea d chased by Mille r a nd Moran . Moran , who ' was using his brother's GM , a machine he had never ridden , got by Mill er for seco nd on th e back ch u te. Miller ca me back by o n lap two . Moran was se t to go underneath Miller when he crash ed in tu rn three o n lap tw o . T hat was it - Moran was o u t, King a nd Miller were in a fter th eir 1-2 fin ish , wh ile Sch wartz is now a reserve. A happy Cook took hi s rewa rds on th e victor y rostrum alo ng wi th th e other five tra n sfers, and lat er sa id , " I h ad planned o n things goi n g thi s well to n ig h t. This weekend of racing has become the summer's fun happeningI It is a weekend not only to see, but to experience. Plan your vacation tour now and ride some of California 's spectacular coastal canyons on your way! We have a better racing schedule for you this year. The second annual Bell Superbike Oassic will feature Saturday's racing'and qualifying, which will include Battle of the Twins, d'lVided into two groups. A vintage' exhibition will also highlight Saturday's activity. The Champion Spark Plug 200 will continue as a pair of 100 kilometer heats, with the Vetter High Mileage Contest Finals as the contrasting break. The popular Formulo-2 final is scheduled as the lead-off main event on Sunday_ TICkets will be available at BASS, TIcketron, TlCketMaster, Laguna Seco's regular outlets. Participating Yamaha dealerswill have Laguna Tour '85 tickets.
