In the 125cc P ro class it was a battle between T on y Flores a nd T errv Ba stard. H ow ever. Ba sta rd was th e ~inner thi s tim e o u t, with Fl or es cla iming seco nd. And in th e 250cc a n d 500cc P ros. J on Nelson took the overa ll win s in both classes. winning a ll four mot os, Flor es led th e pack o ff th e line in th e first 125cc Pro mo ta, and held o nto th e po int position for the first few laps. But Kawa sak i pilots Bin Aver y a nd Ba s ta rd were p ressi ng Flores ha rd , wa it ing for m ista kes. Ba star d fin a lly got by Flores o n th e d ouble j um ps to take the lead. bu t that sit ua tion was brief. Flores roos ted Ba sta rd back in a righ t-h ander. a nd the lead wa s h is again a ll th e wa y to th e chec kered flag. Bast ard . wa s a close seco nd . In the second mota , Flores was mel wi th di sast er wh en he fell a nd lost va Iuable time ge tt ing restarted; in th e mea nwh ile. Bostard was leading a nd had bu ilt up a sizeable lead o ver second p lace Aver y. By th e tim e the eig h t-lap- long mo to was over. Bas tard had ta ken th e win and the overa ll; Flores co u ld do no better than third for second for th e n ight . Avery was th ird overa ll. In th e Open Pro round s.
