Surratt and Brown th en approached

G ary Jones, who was running fifth at
th e time in th e 500cc Pro class. Surra tt

The seco nd mota was shortened
from II laps 10 nine due to the latenes s of th e program . Surratt again
held the earl y lead , with Brown tailing him . Brown even caught and

in front in a hard-contact dice for first.
