"Sudden Sa m " Errnolen ko won h is fourt h Scratch mai n in five tries ill th e Cycle Ri der, In c. Trophy Series. Si n ce the track was closed last week , th e crew a t IM S erec ted a new crash wa ll in tu rn s o ne a nd two . T here were a number o f min or crashes o n th e first half o f th e program but a fter . interm issio n th e m inor crashes turned into a ser ies o f spectacu la r, bone cru nc h ing wrecks. Alan C h risti an, Kell y Mora n a nd Mi ke Curoso were a mong th e m any who h ad to be h el p ed from the track (after Moran crashed he was o u t for the eve ning with a n inj u red elbow ). But it was Second Division ride r Norma n N eu m an who ga ve th e fans th eir biggest show. Neuman was lead in g hi s h ea t race when he hooked up comi ng o ff tu rn two a nd th rew it away .
