This year's winner was '83 National Champion Mike Melton, one of the best in the business. "My twin-shock 400WR is absolutely the most competitive Enduro weapon ever built," said Melton. "It's fast, light, ultra reliable and very nimble in the tight stuff-a proven winner." Second overall was 400WR teammate and last year's winner Kevin Hines who also offered nothing but praise for his machine. Joining the Husqvarna crowd in the winner's circle were Dave Bertram and '84 champ Terry Cunningham, both riding the incredible 500 Automatic. Rounding OUt the top five was veteran Larry "Stroker Ace" Roeseler, his nickname coming from his passion for the 510TE Four Stroke he tides.
