Winn recovered for a strong second . In sp ite of sta rt ing dead last. Dail y put in an ou tstandi ng rid e to claim third. a nd j ackson pl aced fourth. The 125cc Expert class found a very stro ng gro u p o f rid ers lin ing up for m or o number o ne. Steffey led th e seco nd round while Stewart and Kawa saki rider Mark Winn followed for th e first la p . On lap two. Stewart again assu med th e lead pos ition a nd Winn put hi s green ma chine right behind. jorgenson was on the move in third . but a cras h ende d his hopes for a repeat victory.
