By th e last la p Mati asevi ch had decimat ed the entire field a nd took a n irnpressive wi n . Szucs ko held o n to seco nd an d O 'Shaughnessy fad ed 10 th ird. Fourth and fifth pl aces went 10 Danny Casson a nd C urtis Dias, w ho were both o n Kaw asakis. Si mi Valley 's T im SPOilS (Hon) charged into the lead of th e seco nd mot o , H e was fo llowed by Yamaha ride r D.]. Hulen a nd Jeff Matiasevich , who managed a better seco nd rno to sta rt. Matthew Vulk (Ho n), who got a fourth p lace start, worked h is way past D.J . Hulen to run i n second pl ace.
