successful season to date in the 250cc
class, putting a 200cc Honda into the
lead a t the start of the 125/200cc A
·main. Croucher put Harsha, also on
a 200cc Honda irito second, and the
two battledllout through out the
main to finish first and second, while
usual winner Robby Pearce (Suz) finished out the night with a third. The
BOcc A main was ruled by the Cowan
clan - led by Kristin and Jason both
on Yamaha YZs. The duo settled into
the top positions to finish 1-2 when
the checkers came out signaling the
end of the main. The duo put the
clamps on eventual third place finisher Brandon Offord (Kaw).
. The evening's highlight was the
Open Pro's 20-lap runoH with all the
money on th'e line. The race was a
crash marred event, and nearly all
eight contestants took their turns at
leading the chaotic race. Harsha (Hon
250) stayed up on two wheels the
longest and worked past strewn riders to finish up the night with what
would be his only win in his three
class campaign to take top payoH
ahead of Word's 250cc Yamaha. Mathieson arid Bob Ingle took their
swapfest down to the final lap with
Mathieson getting the inside line to
finish in the third place· pay slot
ahead of Ingle.
