HARLEY-DAVIDSON DOMINATES 1984 B.O.T.T. RACING XRt 000 POWERS WINNERS IN ALL THREE HEAVYWEIGHT CLASSES Harley Owners Group·sponsored Gerie Church became the fastest man in two wheel/two cylinder Road Racing with his 1984 Gran Prix Class victory. Gene racked up three wins and three second place finishes in a tight battle against current # 1 plate holder James Adamo. Tuner Don Tilley of Tilley's Harley-Davidson in Statesville, N.C., kept "Lucifer's Hammer" in top running condition with the help of Harley-Davidson, Surefire Distributing and Dunlop Tire Company. Dave McClure, a competitor in the stock class last year, overpowered everyone in the heavyweight modified class. Tuner Vic Fasola and assistance from Harley-Davidson helped Dave take four first place finishes in 1984. Dave McClure, Gene Church and Will Roeder. Will Roeder clinched the stock class title and the # 1 plate in a battle that took seven firsts to clinch. Will's XR 1000 is tuned by his father,
