and Honda rider Larry Sause finished fourth. The final race saw Sullivan crash, which caused a restart,
but on the second try it was Sullivan
in sole command. Hall mounted a
charge but couldn't keep up with
Sullivan, who took a clean sweep
going 1-1-1 to beat Hall's 2-2-2 and
the 5-4-3 tally of AMA Novice Rick
Mscichowski (Yam).
Theday's most exciting race was in
the Open Four- trokes. Zirbel
launched his Chaneys Auto/Adams
Cycle/Kinish Yamaha TT500 into a
large lead, Rya,n Fisher (Yam 500) in
the runner-up spot in ea h of the
three outings. Dan Kirk grabbed the
scratch in the second race, but Fisher
took over until Zirbel launched himself off the TT's jump and into command, storming to the win over Fisher
and Kirk. The final saw Zirbel take it
all the way to home plate for a 1-1-1
score to beat the 2-2-2 of Fisher and
the 4-4-3 of Sause.
