The first thing our rompetition probably noticed at last week'sTrans Cal race
was that theYamaha productionYZS lined
. up next to them were the wrong rolors.
The serond thing they probably noticed was that these dazzling new white
and red rocket ships were half a lap in
front and headed for the checkered flag.
Take the 80cc Class.Thats what
Eddie Hicks did as he rode a 1985 productionYZ80 to his serondTrans Cal title in
as many years. Then, in the 500cc Class,
it was jim Holley's turn as he passed
..,
everyone.Wth flying rolors.
Of rourse, we're not suggesting that
a different paint job made these bikes
faster than ever. (Thats the result of all
the new technology.)
. What we are suggesting is that if
you want the best production bikes ever,
you should stop by your localYamaha
dealer. And if you want to see our new
rolors in action, you should stop by your
local race track.
Where they'll be clashing with the
competition all year long.
