took second, with a 5-2 score beating Steven Kotajarvi (Kaw). Everyone seemed to have one good and one bad moLO in the80cc Junior 12-16 class. Eric Bisbee put together a couple of consistent rides, earning tbe overall with a 4-2 score. Yamaha-mounted Doug Huston led Al McFall (Kaw), Brian Beck (Kaw), and Bi bee through the fiT t lap of moto one. Beck went down on lap two, moving Bisbee up a notch. Huston managed to gain a sizeable lead over McFall and took the win easily. Jason Collier (Yam) was on the move the entire moto; with two laps to go, be took third and put Bisbee back to his original position. Huston agai n led the start of the motowith Robbie Perez (Kaw), Lance Goodman (Kaw) and Bisbee in tow. Goodm'an got by Perez on the first lap then went to work on Huston. Although it took most of the moto to do it, Goodman finally flew by Huston and into the lead on the fifth ap. Goodman went on to win it; although an II th in the first moto put him back to fourth overall, while Huston dropped back to eighth. Bisbee held off a charge by Randy Moody (Yam) in the final turn and straight to get second. Moody was second overall, while third went to Huston. The 125cc Novice win went to Mike Steinhoff (Hon) who overcame a dead-last stan to take third in the first moto and then came back to win the second. Steinhoff grapped the boleshot but the race was red (Jagged due to a pile up. Mike Marrowbone (Cag) led the restart but was quickly passed by Steve Parent (Hon), while Steinhoff gOt stuck in the backwards falling gate. Parent went down on the first lap, giving the lead to Michael Edwards (Suz). Tony Olivieri (Yam) chased Edwards for the entire race but never caught him and finished second just ahead of Steinhoff, who had blazed his way through the pack. Steinhoff made no mistakes at the start of moto two, but Parent took the lead away on the first lap. Parent led until the fourth lap when he went down once again. Steinhoff ran into Parent and killed his engine but was the first to get going and took the lead. Parent got up in second but was too far down to catch Steinhoff before the moto ended.
