Bracket competition saw Ron Williams and his Kawasaki win ET #1 and Russell Love, also on a Kawasaki, win ET #2. The IDBA's next event will be the 1984 World Finals at Mississippi's Gulfport International Dragway on October 13-14. The event will be preceded by the annual rules meeting, several free seminars of interest to racers, and followed by the association's annual Awards Banquet.
