SPEEDWAY WEEK was the initial leader but was passed by teve Flanagan at the end of the first go round. Flanagan hung on until Victor Robledo shot past on the next circuit. Robledo came all the way from the twenty to take the lead, but once there, he was going to be challenged as Jones and Bob Tocco were working their way back through the field. Suddenly, there were a couple of simultaneous crashes bringing out a red £lag and an end to the exciting race. Robledo took the win with Jones and Tocco surviving for second and third. David Wysocki (Team Je u Jawa) pas ed Valerie Robledo on lap three and went on to capture his first ever speedway main event in the usual wild and wooly Third Division action. Doug Greyson nipped Robledo at the line for second with Mark Kariya claiming fourth in his first ever D-3 main event.
