mounted to finish 10th, Hill led to the finish. Carr, McDowell, Bruce Johnson and Craig Howard finished second through fifth. In the 250cc Expert clash Key took another holeshot, followed by Jon Nunez, Carr and Hill. Carr soon picked 0(( Nunez for second, and Hi 11 did likewise to advance to third. Carr wouldn't settle for second, and slid underneath Key in turns one and two to take the lead with only a few laps remaining. At the checkered it was Carr, Key, Hill and Nunez. The 500cc Junior class had Tony Adragna leading most of the race on a 490 Yamaha, only to £all prey to Suzuki rider Tom Carriger near the end of the race. Carriger also won the 250cc Junior class, leading wire to wire. Eric Green worked his way through the pack to finish second ahead of Steve Raymond.
