National Papers (Continueii from page 3) stopped last May with three laps LO go and then restarted with Scotty Parker nipping Graham at the flag. by inches in the closest half mile finish ever recorded at Ascot? I do and both riders are still talking about that one. They say the power of the new Honda mile machines is awesome. Graham b.eaks a track record just about every time out but Goss was right on his rear wheel, along with Shobert, in a recent mile final so that means that Goss also has awesome power in his Harley, doesn't it? Somewhere in these four upcoming Nationals in California either Randy or Ricky and either Harley or Honda is going LO take home all the marbles for this season. As a mOLOrcyc1ist, the only sort of safety they can recommend is a helmet law. It's too exasperating to try to teach you to ride safely; because you are riding a motorcycle you've already proven LO (Continued tlJ'page 21) 11
