England's Jeremy Whalley (Suz), via
runner-up performances in both motos, garnered the overall win in the
July 22 Belgian 250cc MXGP. Second
went to Anders Eriksson (Yam) with
a pair of third-place finishes. Jacky
Vimond was third overall, out of the
points in the first moto but winner of
the second. Point leader Heinz Kinigadner failed to finish either moto.
