all season. However today was not to
be Roskelley's day. Butler shot into
the lead in moto one with Roskelley
forced arc the track during the SLart.
By the halfway mark, Roskelley
worked his way up to second, within
range of Butler. It took a while but
Roskelley finally passed Butler. Not
more than a haIr-lap later, in a dry,
silty comer, Roskelley went down
and Butler piled into him. Butler was
up and away first with Roskelley
right behind, but a loop out took the
steam out of RoskelLey and he finished the mota in fifth with Butler
holding down the number one slot.
MaLO two found Butler once again
in the lead -wi th Roskelley right behind. As in the first mota, Roskelley
eventually got by Butler only to have
his chain break on the last lap. Butler
went on to an easy win with Roske!. ley pushing across the finisb line in
eighth.
Kevin Schaub, after competing in
both the l25cc Expen and Pro classes,
mustered up the energy to race in the
250cc Expert class. He didn't just race
- he new to convincing wins in both
motos on a very difficult track.
After having won the first 500cc
Expen rnato, Roskelley jumped into
the second mota lead. But after having so much bad luck in the Pro class,
he couldn't force himself to continue,
pulled off the track and called it a
day. "There's no'point in it when you
don't have fun," said Roskelley, who
definitely was feeling down.
