For the final moLO there were only
four riders in the line-up. Super Seer
Goggles rider Osterday held the lead
but was overcome by Dick Allen's
Honda rider Truchinski. Rutherford
soon moved up to second and Osterday fell back to third. A 1-2 tally
earned Rutherford the top award.
Truchinski held a 3-1 tally for the
second and the final cash award.
Osterday and Romero placed fourth
and fifth.
In the other Pro cia es, Ed Arnet
swept both moLOS to defeat Tetsumi
Misoyaso and Tony Spear. Rick
johnson faced only three other 500cc
Pro riders and easily took both motos.
Willy Musgrave and Gregg Weaver
placed behind johnson in both moLOS.
j err "Chicken" Matiasevich is pressing toward the 125cc Pro class and is
consistently winning as a l25cc Intermediate. Matiasevich took two moto
win though he received some stiff
competition from Mike McLain, who
led the first lap in the final moLO.
Trey McFarland took second overall
with a 2-3 tally while McLain managed third overall with a 4-2.
