Al Parker, Suzuki's vice president in charge of motorcycle sales, will run a one-kilometer leg of the Olympic Torch Relay this month. Suzuki is sponsoring the leg, which costs runners $3000, and the money goes to youth sports charities. Parker ran the recent Olympic Torch 10K, finishing the 6.2-mile run in 46 minutes, 651 St overall and 30th in his age bracket. Argyll Park. located 11 miles south of Dixon. California. will be holding it. 1 Oth annual White Knuckle MX on Labor Day weekend. There will be three qualifiers for the event. July 16. August 6 and August 26. A big purse and a bike giveaway will be featured on the Labor Day event. Vintage, classic and special interest motorcycles return to Laguna Seca Raceway for the Champion Spark Plug 200, July 21-22. Owners and enthusiasts are invited to display their machinery throughout the weekend with a special parade lap and an exhibition race for vintage and classic single-cylinder bikes on Saturday. Randy Green (Hon) led round three of the We.tern Regional Champion.hip serie. from start to finish to take the Expert win over Charlie Barkman. Mickey Far (W-R) wa. third in the Castle Rock TT event.
