garden party in Pasadena this weekend.
And his guests won't soon forget it. He
·mowed 'em.down, weeded 'em out and
raked in all the roses at the granddaddy of
stadium races-the giant Superbowl of
Motocross in the Rose Bowl.
An estimated 70,000 fans watched
Ward grab the hole-shot with perfect
Uni-Trak" traction and speed to victory _
on his Mike McAndrews-tuned KX250.
When the checkered flag fell, it wasn't
even close. Ward simply left them
fumbling in the end zone.
