Button Sr. graciously let me use his tools and awning, which was much appreciated during the heat of the day. Veteran class winner Rick Tabor of Phoenix gave me a set of rear brake shoes and wouldn't take anything for them; it was sure nice to be able to stop! Doc Ingram and Terry White with Trick Racing Gasoline provided race gas at a great price. The Meredith [amily, Tom, Joan, Mark, and Tamma, of Lancer Leathers provided shade, shorts and food. Bevo Forte of Scott Goggles, who had driven all night from Pomona to attend, kept me well supplied with goggles and lenses.
