not surprised that the governor has
not replaced Howard Wilshire on the
OHV Commission, although I wish
he would soon. Obviously our great
interest in ORV aUairs is not shared
by others, and to think that it is is
self-flattery. What we can do is let Mr.
Deukmejian know who to put in
there via Bob Ham or others close to
the system if it hasn't been done
already, and prod him with some letters. Oh, and while I'm on the subject
of letters, what are the numbers of the
hi lis of interest on motorcycle safety
and OHV grant funding so we can
send some letters? It's aIso good to
know which committees these bills
are headed for.
I admire Donna Camagey for her
dedication to protection of our rights.
but we must remain objective and
issues-oriented. and we must remain
non-partisan and non-political at all
costs.
