Daytona 200 I've finished in all the
years I've been racing here," said
Cooley. "We had a motor mount
break just after the first gas stop
which cOSt us a bit of lOp speed and
pu t a real buzz in the handlebars. My
other problem was the mount of the
master cylinder for the front brake
got loose and the reservoir kept tilting forward and filling with air. I
had to run the front and back straights
holding it up so the fluid would fill
back up. I lost a bit of momentum
fiddling with that and it probably
cost nie a spot or two."
