"My strategy was to try and bang
with the leaders during the early
going," said Rainey, "I knew they
were going to pull me some, but it
wasn't as bad today as had been. 1
Wayne was riding really good today,
especially in turn two. 1 learned a lot
this year, and I'm planning to come
back next year and do beller."
Rainey's 104.124-mph average was
such that only II riders completed 26
laps.
