Rick Kirk kept labs on th e action from h is th irdp lace posi tion . Sh iflett fell under th e hea vy pressure, letting Burke a nd Kirk by, but h e reco vered for thi rd, Dude H oll in gsworth battl ed J ack Lambert do wn th e front straigh t in th e seco nd ro un d .
