Although complete engines and other components will still be manufactured in Japan, all frame fabrication will be done in Lincoln, and other components, such as gas tanks, will be made there. Janowicz, who has had over 10 years experience in the motorcycle industrY as the accessory for Cycles Inc. in Arlington Virginia, where he oversaw all aftermarket accessory departments in the three dealerships owned by Cycles Inc. Janowicz will be responsible ror the sales of domestic motorsport products and will be working wi th Bell's network of distributors and dealers in the development or sales and merchandising programs. Harry Everts and Jo Martens are looking for contracts from Huaqvarna. Everts wanta to continue contesting tlia 500cl: ....x GPs while Martens is a strong 260cc contender. Steve Wise, Honda's ex-motocrosserturned-road-racer, and Superbikers Champion in 1980-81, will be com: peting at this year's Superbikers on November 5. Wise, coming of£ a series of road-racing injuries, says he is fit, has been training for the competition and plans to be a three-time winner of the event. Bob Hannah update: A few weeks ago it was reported that he broke his pelvis and injured his kidneys. His recovery procesa is right on schedule and he should be back on a bike shortly. But what bike? Hannah has not yet signed a contract with Honda. The sixth round or the Trans-Cal Series will be held October 29-30 at Saddleback Park. This will be the final outdoor event and will decide the Series championships.
