Stem ski, president of Corning Enterprises, has been named chairman of the new corporation, and Bill France, J r., president of International Speedway Corporation, has been named vice chairman. Corning Enterprises owns Corning Glass Works in Corning, New York. International Speedway Corporation owns and operates major racing facilities at Daytona Beach, Florida; Talladega, Alabama; and Darlington, South Carolina. John R. Saunders has been named the circuit's director. "We will shortly be announcing our schedule for 1984 and I believe it will be exciting," said Saunders. Repon· edly, the Watkins Glen facility will host an AMA Grand National Championship/Camel Pro Series round next year.
