e Once more, Kawasaki
gobbled up the competition
as Wayne Ramey powered his big fa~ry GPz750 to
victory. But this time it was for keeps. This was his history..
making, unprecedented 4th race win in a row. This win
clinched Kawasaki's 5th Superbike Championship in 8 years. And
while no one else has ever won twice in a row, this is Kawasaki's
3rd consecutive Superbike TIde. In that same tide-grabbing event,
hard-charging teammate \\es Cooley took second. All in all it was
a pretty good day for the big green bikes. And certainly a great
finish for Team Kawasaki, thanks to the incredible contributions
