Ron Lechien may be only 16,
but he knew enough to stay out
of trouble in Lakeside.
In the first 125cc moto, he
simply grabbed the holeshot
and disappeared into the hills.
Lmving a snarling mob behind
Far behind By the finish, the
nearest was 20 seconds back.
Then Ron ran away with the
second moto. Mer giving them
the slip on lap L he left his pursuers with the most memorable
sight they saw in Colorado.
