Team Honda took its show on the road again at the Mid-Ohio Supercycle Weekend Camel Pro Series National on May 21 and 22. And as usual, we ruled with an iron fist and some very fast motorcycles. First, Steve Wise rode hisV45 Interceptor" to victory in the Superbike race. That's four wins in as many outings for the Interceptor. Team Honda Support rider Fred Merkel finished second. Also on an Interceptor. Nothing else on the track can match the power our liquid-eooled V-4 chums out. Norcan anything keep up in the curves thanks to the Interceptor's superior suspension, brakes and frame design. In fact, the Interceptor worked so well for Steve, he used it again the next day. In the Formula One race. But this time he finished second. Because his teamMike Baldwin mate and defending F-1 champion Mike Baldwin grabbed first place on the exotic NS500. Still, Steve is leading in the National Formula One point standings. Mike is leading the National Superbike point standings. . And theV45 Interceptor? Well, you might say that's the king's favorite subject. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET A.'IID EYE PROfECTIOS. © 1983 American H onda M Co., Inc. owr G(") 00 O"l 27
