Once again he wa s plagued with engine h orr ors. and " Movi n Ma rv" took over for th e remaining 12 laps for a nother first. Dennis R osenberg was seco n d across th e line a n d Beltn ick was th ere fo r th ird place h onors. The Junior Masters class had its problems. and due to th ese o n ly moto two was used 10 determine winners. G eorge Spearing rocketed into firs t. Dick Burley took secon d a n d Buzz Moeller third. Bob Cr andall got started wa y. way back th ere in th e Expert pack. but that didn 't sto p him from ge tting first pl ace. Ed Scheidler bla sted in with second. a n d Kurt Sofk a foll ow ed him in with third . In th e second m oto Al Smith took the lead and p ro ved to be th e fastest and took th at first pl ace win. Ed Scheidler took a second. whi ch wasn 't a n easy feat co n siderin g h e sta rted last in th e pa ck. Ri ch ard L yons was with th e lead ers with h is th ird pl ace. Amat eu r Gordon Mathieu m ad e hi s new H on da proud again with hi s exce lle nt I-I overa ll win. J ohn Webb ca me in with second place. Bob Klatt really did some fast m oving with a holeshot sta rt and th e lead for seven laps. H e scored a third pl a ce.
