H e quickly took over seco nd and was within stri king ra nge of Belluzzi on the w hite flag lap. _ Robin so n began to slack off the pace. He didn't realize Bell uzzi was slacking off too. " I was rea lly tired, I co u ld barely see th e track," he admitted after the win. There were two ri ders who made off with a trophy , prizes and a check for $701 1 The CRC took one dollar from every Pro entry during the year of motocross races and divided it between the 125, 250 and 500cc Pro class overall winners. The o nly requirement .was that each winner had 10 race at least 15 times. Well, Tim Locey topped the 500cc Pro class, but unfortunately he didn't race the required 15 times and lost out on th e paycheck. The riders w ho did q ua lify were Roger Hensley of the I25cc Pro class and Jim Taranti no of the 250cc Pro class. Tarantino took u p half the program giv ing credit to a long list of sponsors, and no doubt they will su p port him in 1983_ T here were m any, many ride rs who won a troph y and dese rve mention.
