With one lap to go, Hen rick sen was closing in on Anker when he hit a whoop on the co rner below Webco tower and swa pped off h is Yama ha! H enricksen 's lead over third p lace ri der Palmer enabled him to continue wi thout losing seco nd pl ace. That corner was troublesome for a lo t of rid ers. An ker showed everyone that his win was n' t a n accident when he retu rn ed wi th the lead in ' th e final round. H en ricksen was ou t to get h im once again, bu t di dn ' t discover th e right line to ta ke on the corner below Webco, a n d this time he did lose some posi tions. Trey McFarla nd of ProTec zapped Henricksen and stole second place. Jimmy Pa lmer decided 10 give Henricksen a tough tim e and knocked Kurt back to fourth . For Jerry Anker it was a perfect da y .as h e ci nc h ed the I 25cc Intermediate top trophy . J immy Palmer had a , consistent ~ ·3 lalIy.wl)ich.earned him the second place troph y with H enricksen taki1'!g a ''?;ic! ,b.rea k for third. Kevin Val enti soared o ut ahead o f the l25cr. Novice clas s in th e first moto. Valent i sta rt ed to tire out and dropped back to fourth p lace . Mike Gilmartin took hi s Honda 10 th e lead and the wi n ov er Jon Ba rri ck (Han ), J eff Segale a nd Valenti. II wa s a Honda rally in th e final rnot o as Barrick took th e holesh ot with Valenti pursuing in second. Once . more, I Va le n t i, fad ed back .to fourth . Gilmartin slid by Barrick to tak e th e top spo t with Mike Ant cl iffe in third.
