There are.only two kinds of
people inVegas. Winners and
losers.
And by the time the dust
settled at this year's LasVegas
400, two guys and a dirty yellow
Yamaha were dearly the winners. The rest ofthe riderswere
just dirty.
It took Scott and Kent Pfeiffer,
and theirwater-cooled YZ250
Yamaha, all of9 hours, 1minute
and 55 seconds to take the overall win bysandstorm.
Now; a lot ofguys on a lotof
bigger bikes chalked up the Pfeiffers' win to pure luck.
We, onthe otherhand, chalked
it up to some mighty fine crosscountry riding and, ofcourse, their
YZ250. With itsYamaha Power
Valve System and rising rate Monocross suspension, its nowonder
Scott and Kent made speeding
over scrub, rocks and rattlers look
almost easy.
Which only goes to show that
sometimes you don't need luck to
win inVegas
You need a Yamaha
