ยท . ! There are.only two kinds of people inVegas. Winners and losers. And by the time the dust settled at this year's LasVegas 400, two guys and a dirty yellow Yamaha were dearly the winners. The rest ofthe riderswere just dirty. It took Scott and Kent Pfeiffer, and theirwater-cooled YZ250 Yamaha, all of9 hours, 1minute and 55 seconds to take the overall win bysandstorm. Now; a lot ofguys on a lotof bigger bikes chalked up the Pfeiffers' win to pure luck. We, onthe otherhand, chalked it up to some mighty fine crosscountry riding and, ofcourse, their YZ250. With itsYamaha Power Valve System and rising rate Monocross suspension, its nowonder Scott and Kent made speeding over scrub, rocks and rattlers look almost easy. Which only goes to show that sometimes you don't need luck to win inVegas You need a Yamaha 41
