S&W Eng ineered Products had developed racing valve spring kits that will help solve many of the problems that occur when threewheeler owners increase the performance of their cycles. According to Director of OEM Development. Donn Rickard. S&W has made some engineering evaluations of this "hopped up" situation and has come up with a solu tion - three-wheel racing valve spring kits. Three-wheel OEM valve springs are designed to be used with mild cam timing that is stan dard in the three-wheeler engine," states Rickard. "Because the OEM valve springs cannot accept the accelerations and increased lift of the high performance cams. the va lves lose their ability to follow the cam profile."
