PRODUCT EVALUATION Product Evaluation Kutter Special Sport Fairing If you' re look ing to make an in vestment tha t will enhance the look of your bike and give you a bit more protection from the elements, a Kutter Special Sport Fairing is worth loo king into. Installa tion was a snap: From out of the box to first test ride less than a hour had elapsed, and that incl ud ed a coup le trips to th e refr igera tor for a cool on e and other nu merous interru ptions. Flexible tabs con nec ted to the fairing slide onto the head ligh t mo un t bolt s for half th e fairing's su ppo rt. T he o ther half comes fro m two stay bars that adjust be twee n the fairing and handlebar m ount ed b rac kets , O nce the fairing is in place the winds hield is m ount ed . The scre ws provided could have been a half inc h shorrer-vrhey pro trude through the inside of th e fairing, and took a bunch of turning to thread through the plastic nuts. Though we re-adjusted th e stay bars several times to alter th e angle of the fairing on our Honda CB 750F. we kept getting win d breaking just above eye level. No problem excep t for an annoying wind whistle . CB750F bars , however, have a higher and dee per bend th an most other bars on the market. whi ch kept the fairing in a relatively vertical pos ition.
