Ron Turner leads Honda domination of eMC Four-Stroke Championship at (arlsbad. Turner ¥#ins the baffle. Honda ¥#ins the YICI~ Actuall)', the CMC Four-Stroke Championship last week at Carlsbad was more ofan execution than a war. The competition never had a chance. "Radical" Ron Turner led the Honda march, capturing the 500 cc Pro Division aboard an HPF XR5OOR-engined machine. David Gerig and Phil Larson finished second and third on their Hondas to complete the sweep. Brian Showalter captured the 500 Intermediate Class. Pete Eunice took the 250Junior crown. Jim O'Neals two-pronged attack defeated the 200 Sportsman and Veteran Expert troops. Alan Moore burned the Veteran Intermediates and Gene Dempsey knocked out the OTJuniors. All on Hondas.
