_thera Nevada· .Gathera Call ~~ IAMA_. SANCT'ONfO WELCOMES THE (Yam), another Mater Dei rider, finished behind Barnes in botb motos, taking second overall. Greg McPeak (Yam) of Poly combined a g-4 score to capture third. Eric MacCracken (Yam) of Malcolm Smith products continued to dominate the 250cc Pro class by winning both matos ahead of Yamaha-mounted Rick Rod~rs. MacCracken grabbed the holeshol in both motos with Rod~rs closely lurking behind. Rodgers' chances of taking the overall ended in the second moto when he dropped out while challenging MacCracken for the lead. In the frrst moto of the 250cc Intermediate class, Rick Vanderham (Yam) roosted his way into the lead with Alan McCown (Kaw) and Kinney Jones (Hon) pursuing. But on the third lap Vanderham gave up his lead to McCown who eventually won. Vanderham finished second while Jones held onto third. When the gate dropped. for the second moto it was McCown who stole the lead ahead of Vanderham and.Jones. But Vanderham's go-for-it riding style enabled him to take over the lead on the fourth lap. Jones also put the move on McCown a lap later capturing second. Vanderliam held on' for his 2-1 win while McCown's I-g combo bested Jones' g-2. Results HIGHSCHOOl MINI NOV: 1. Ched _ l~; 2.
