LOUDON, NH, SEPT. 20
At Loudon, New Hampshire, with
only two more ATel ATV races
left in the '81 season, it looks like
Harry Trask is going to take the
gold ring on the Bryar Motorsport
Park one-eighth mile "merry-go-round"
for the ATCI ATV over all points
championship.
However, Oct. 11 will be a different
ride for the championship final to be
held on the "roller-coaster" styled Bryar
motocross course with all turns' and
jumps in full view of the spectators in
an amphi theatre's type layout with
the staging effect of the famous autumn
foliage as a backdrop of brilliant red,
gold and orange colored trees in
Bryar's natural setting in the New
England Lakes Region area.
Among Sept. 20th's winners was
ATC (All Terrain Cycle) racer Ed
Ladner taking the Open class short
track (ST) and TT (over the jumps)
finals while Matt Gagnon copped both
ST and TT 200 class events. Robert
Williatns won the 120 ATC ST.
The ATV (All Terrain Vehicles) action rampaged with Richard Wickson,
the big Modifed ST victor and Bruce
Benoit second; Harry Trask third.
Bruce Benoit came back and won the
ATV Stock class while Ed Webb took
the Stock ATV-TT; Harry Trask
second.
Owner, promoter Don Brymer said
"The ATCI ATV program is very successful and very well run thanks to Bob
Jolin and Bob Star" and looks forward
to the 1982. season beginning in May at
"Bryar Motorsport Park ... the race
place."
