Weixeldorfer held Brady off to take the win with Sundahl finiShing third after his last place start. Scott Brady took the holeshot in the second moto over Weixeldorfer and Sundahl. All three riden stayed within two bikelengths of each other till the fifth lap. Weixeldorfer closed Brady's lead down the long straight to tum one. Weixeldorfer passed Brady in the Coca Cola Big Berm to take over the lead. Weixeldorfer held onto the lead for the win over Brady and then Sundahl. Morris finished fourth, Callen fifth and Howard sixth. September 2 September 9 Sundahl, Webceldorter clean up at 1. 1. 7 By Myron Hemley CHULA VISTA, CA, SEPT. 2 &: 9 Dean Sundahl took four straight motos in the Open Modified and Mark Weixeldorfer took the overall in successive weeks in the ATC/ATVrace for the gold rIng at Bryar ,- By Lu Lu Brymer LOUDON, NH, SEPT. 20 At Loudon, New Hampshire, with only two more ATel ATV races left in the '81 season, it looks like Harry Trask is going to take the gold ring on the Bryar Motorsport Park one-eighth mile "merry-go-round" for the ATCI ATV over all points championship. However, Oct. 11 will be a different ride for the championship final to be held on the "roller-coaster" styled Bryar motocross course with all turns' and jumps in full view of the spectators in an amphi theatre's type layout with the staging effect of the famous autumn foliage as a backdrop of brilliant red, gold and orange colored trees in Bryar's natural setting in the New England Lakes Region area. Among Sept. 20th's winners was ATC (All Terrain Cycle) racer Ed Ladner taking the Open class short track (ST) and TT (over the jumps) finals while Matt Gagnon copped both ST and TT 200 class events. Robert Williatns won the 120 ATC ST. The ATV (All Terrain Vehicles) action rampaged with Richard Wickson, the big Modifed ST victor and Bruce Benoit second; Harry Trask third. Bruce Benoit came back and won the ATV Stock class while Ed Webb took the Stock ATV-TT; Harry Trask second. Owner, promoter Don Brymer said "The ATCI ATV program is very successful and very well run thanks to Bob Jolin and Bob Star" and looks forward to the 1982. season beginning in May at "Bryar Motorsport Park ... the race place."
