For these two events, two classes will be initiated - Class 1 - 0 to 200cc and Class 2 - 201-250cc. At this time, there are not, according to Periscope's recent study, enough qualified riders and cycles to warrant the third class, 250cc and over. "Riverside will show us a lot," Kimball reports, "and could lead to the addition of the third class for the 1982 Baja Cross Series.
