Suzuki's Teny Vance has
locked up the 1981 NMRA
Pro Stock Championship
with one race left in the
Raceway. Teny smoked the
senes.
The clincher came at the
Suzuki western Nationals at
Orange County International
competition aboard his
GS-1100 to take the Pro
Stock final. The winning
time and speed were 8.74
seconds at 151.26 mph.
Congratulations, Teny.
You're still Pro Stock's
number one pro.

(Teny wasn't the only
Suzuki rider to have a great
day, either. Mike Phillips
took the Supermodified class
on a Suzuki GS-750.And,
Roger McPhail nailed down
the A Super Stock class on
his GS-750.)
