00 c:n a -year rt. When it comes right down to it, there's no substitute for experience. So it shouldn't be too surprising that Honda ATC<~s totally dominated the three-wheel division ofthe SCORE Off-Road World Championship at Riverside International Raceway. Mark "Wax" Weixeldorfer captured both first-place overall and first-place in the 201-250 cc class on a Team Honda ATC®250R. The first production off-road three-wheeler with a full suspension. Meanwhile Dean Sundahl took an overall second and the top spot in the Open Class. And Curtis Sparks won the 200 cc and under class on his modified ATC®185S. And since we won our first twowheeled World Championship way back in 1962, it should come as no shock that we came in first in several motorcycle races, too. Team Honda's Rich Coon conquered the 125 Pro-Class on a Team Honda water-cooled works bike and]im Tarantino dusted the 250 Pro-Class on a watercooled CR250R. All ofwhich taught the competition a lesson it'll never forget. Achampionship off-road race is no place for beginners. -.
