00 0') HARRY EVERTS: 1981125cc WORLD MX OIAMPION. Team Suzuki's Harry Everts captured his third consecutive 125cc Wond MX title August 13 in Anderstorp, Sweden. He guided his Full Floater to a double moto victory in the final round for the championship. Eric Geboers finished second in the title 36 ... chase with 194 points. He was also aboard an RM-125. By the way, in the 7 years of competition for the 125 World MX title, there's been only one winner. Suzuki. MARCO WCCHINEW: 1981500cc . WORlD ROAD RACING CHAMPION. Suzuki's Marco Lucchinelli is the newly crowned king of 500cc road racing. Lucchinelli won 5 rounds and accumulated 105 championship points throughout the series. His closest competitor was his own teammate Randy Mamola, who finished second with 94 points. Between the two of them, they completely out-distanced everyone aboard their RG-500 Suzukis. Itjust goes to show, at Suzuki, performance really does count ....
