By Webster Productions RECHECANYON, CA, APR. 5 With the intention of proving to rocks all around the world that man and his machine are superior, the Plonkers Trials Club held their annual Plonkathon Trials. Just about every section looked like a small rock quarry, with the riden unable to find an euy line of travel. Section number four for example, staned in a rock strewn gully that emptied out into a pile of rocks on the left side and a rock slab on the right. Just in back of this wu a boulder that you had to negotiate correcdy to set yourself up for another vertical climb and out the exit gate. Most Experts including fust place finisher Scott Head picked the rock slab which meant you had to tum right while going up the fint rock and then after landing, turn left and go up the other. Second place Expen Matt Pritchard decided the best line for him wu to ride over the pile of rocks on the left and then have a straight shot at the two bouIden. Brock Sattelmeier, a Florida Expen staying in California for a few months kept shaking his head, saying "I've never seen so many rocks in one place before."
