You've heard of southern hospitality, right?
. Well that's just what Shreveport, Louisiana's
Freddie Spencer dished up as he showed America's fastest Superbike racers the way around
Alabama International Motor Speedway.
Spencers Honda CB900F-based Superbike
led nearly all the way, making
the only race of the day the one for
second. And Mike Spencer's
similar machine carried Team Honda's colors to a
blazing fourth place fInish.
All ofwhich puts Freddie in a tie for fIrst in the
Championship series. And Mike solidly in third.
Andjust goes to show you that folks in the
South may talk slow, but they sure ride fast.
