Anderson led wire to wire in the
lIeCOnd round, but Eaton stayed clOle
enough to take advantage of any
minor errors. There were DOne. Tyler
held third until the downhill side of
halfway when Tim Michliueh (Kaw)
and Corcoran both went by. Blasdrll
was out again for half the race, but the
Husky dido't have the beam to ge( past
mid-pack.
The Open Pro class was Bludell's
sole property with the exception of two
lap" at the stan of the second moto.
I Bamey Newman (Yam) followed him.
nave Eakin (Hon) and Kirk Giggers
(hon) have almost completely controlled
the 250cc Intermediate class this
winter. It was different today. Red
yielded to yellow as Todd Beltz (Suz)
put his lIeCond-first finishes in the
proper order to drop Eakin to second
and Giggers to third.
Mini rider Denny Fennell dabbled
his feet in the big bike waten today
when he borrowed a 125 to ride the
second 125cc Intermediate moto. His
third-place finish leacla one to suspect
he may be all wet soon. Doug Lange
(Kaw) won both motos.
